What this site is about is the little community of Screven, Georgia. We hope you like what you see and read, and we are interested in your input.
Obviously we don't work a this site every day, but it is a labor of love and we try to keep our news current. But what will really make it what we would like to see is your participation.
We want to receive your digital photos and your news items. Every family has happenings. Birthday, anniversaries, parties and gatherings. Once in a while you might grow a flower or a vegetable or a child that you are proud of and you want to show it off. Here's your chance.
As a member of the Screven Community News, for which you are required to pay zero, nada, nothing, you can access the Photo Gallery and send in your digital photos, or you can send them to our email address at screvennews@yahoo.com. Include identification of any persons in your photo and tell us a little about what is going on, and we will rework it for you and put it on our news pages.
How about your church activities? Send those to us at the email address, and we will be happy to share with the community. Special days, homecomings, revivals--all are special times that you can let the community know about.
And how about any clubs or organizations that you belong to? Let us share your activities with the community. Schedule your meeting and events on the Community Calendar.
